|---|---|---|
| United States | Open | Price in US dollars per mile, capped at the IRS standard mileage rate. Pay by wallet, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash. Small service fee. |
| India | Opening (no fee) | Price in rupees per kilometre. You pay the driver directly, in cash or by UPI. No service fee for now. Drivers must be verified. |
| United Kingdom | Opening (no fee) | Price in pounds per mile, agreed before the trip, never above the running costs of the journey. You pay the driver directly. No service fee for now. |
| Ireland | Opening (no fee) | Price in euros per kilometre, based on the fuel cost of the trip. You pay the driver directly. No service fee for now. |
| New Zealand | Opening (no fee) | Price in New Zealand dollars per kilometre, based on a cost-sharing rate for fuel and wear. You pay the driver directly. No service fee for now. |

The same everywhere
- A ride shares the real cost of a trip the driver is already making. Prices are capped, and drivers cannot make a profit.
- ShareSpace is not a taxi or ride-hailing service. It does not own vehicles or employ drivers.
- Drivers and riders are each responsible for following the law where they are, for their own insurance, and for how they behave. ShareSpace provides no insurance and no protection or compensation for damage, injury or loss.
- Read the Terms of Service, the Carpool rules and the Privacy policy.
Rules differ from country to country and can change, so check the rules where you drive. Questions? support@sharespacecarpool.com.
