In India, the United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand you pay the driver directly, in cash, by UPI (India) or by bank transfer. ShareSpace currently charges no service fee there, so nothing is charged in the app. The app shows the price you agreed before you book.
ShareSpace does not collect, hold or send this money and cannot refund it. If there is a problem with a payment, settle it with the other person, and use the Report option in the app if you need our help.
Tips
Agree the price shown in the app and pay the amount in the app, no more. Carry small notes if you pay in cash. Drivers must not ask for more than the cap, because ShareSpace is for sharing real trip costs and not for profit. If a driver asks for more, say no and report it.
In the United States you can still pay from your in-app wallet or by card, and in Canada payment is by card in the app.
